I’m trying to find joy in strawberry flowers and late-season berries because I’m moody, winter is coming and I have snot and a sore throat! And then suddenly: a message from Venus came along…
Finding joy when winter is approaching is often something I need to do intentionally. Taking photos of my harvest as colourful as possible and next – trying to find the medicinal gifts in it, is one of many small tools for finding joy, instead of overindulging in bad hedonistic habits which I have a lot of and I need to protect myself from.
Strawberry flowers are edible. They look better than they taste though. But having their crazy lovely looking 5-star-pointed flowers on top of a salad makes everyone happy and the funny thing today is, that I focused a lot on those strawberry flowers in my garden. I felt sad picking them, but I just started to munch them down as that greedy PMS woman I am today.
What I didn’t notice was that Venus actually entered into Virgo this morning. It’s crazy. While I was looking up the medicinal value of strawberry flowers on an AI food-planning app for this blog, I got this text popping up (and hey…. keep in mind that the Moon is in Leo and Venus is in Virgo and keywords connected to them are overwhelmingly close tho the bits I took out here):
The app explained the symbolism of Strawberry Flowers through history and it said:
from foodzilla.oi when searching for “Strawberry Flowers”.
“Purity and Innocence…
Love and Passion…
Healing and Medicine… In traditional Chinese medicine, the plant was used to treat digestive and respiratory problems, while in Western herbal medicine it was used to treat skin conditions and menstrual cramps….
Fertility and Abundance: In ancient Rome, the strawberry plant was associated with the goddess Venus…
Joy and Celebration…”
It’s insane. I have the flu now on top of all my other physical stuff and I’m about to get my period. So I’m also PMS as hell. Respiratory help and menstrual cramp relief are very much welcome! Thank you. I think the text has an interpretational value towards the Moon in Leo and Venus in Virgo.
Need I to say why I’m flabbergasted? It doesn’t look like this food-planning app has considered astrology. If you know the keywords of Venus, Virgo and Leo you are right now smiling together with me. Have you experienced transits talking to you like this? I do that all the time. It’s so much that it can’t just be pattern recognition. I wonder what it means.
While creating this blogpost I just remembered that my Venus starpoint is close to the royal fixed star Regulus where Venus just had its conjunction. And that Venus is only one degree away from my actual Venus Star Point* Wow, just wow. I didn’t even know it was my Star-point day today when I started to write this blog post. So I needed to change the title and understand the connection of today’s experiences and messages. Maybe I should study Arielle Gutman’s work even more. She is the inventor of the Venus Star Point* technique. This is not a commercial by the way! It just rings very true for me and I might return to this again. Also especially when Venus transits often speaks to me so strongly. They might speak to you as well? I would love to follow my Venus children friends on a daily matter too, but I don’t have the capacity to do that.
Now back to the medicinal values of the strawberry flower:
Quote: Strawberry flowers have been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. They are believed to have anti-inflammatory properties, and they have been used to treat a variety of ailments, including diarrhea, stomach ulcers, and gout.
foodzilla.oi
Here is another good quote but about the berries themselves and be aware of medicinal language:
The strawberries itself is very medicinal. Wild strawberry has likely been used for thousands of years, based on evidence from pre-Columbian sites. Epidemiological and interventional studies reveal potential beneficial effects of strawberries on cellular inflammation and oxidation, some cardiometabolic disorders, immunomodulation, metabolic dysregulation, and some neurological conditions.
drugs.com and that’s siencebased. So very very interesting. Also the leaves contains a lot of value. I think i read somewhere that we can treat c-vitamin deficiancy with the leaves. maybe we could make some good teas. But I’ll have to return to this one.
Of course, we are out of season now, but we can buy them dried or frozen. Some of us can still harvest parts of the plant. I still harvest a few strawberries because of one of the special strawberry varieties that grows all season. I might return later on this subject. I haven’t found the name of the variety yet, unfortunately. The friend who gave me the plant doesn’t remember. It provides me with strawberries for the whole season. Oh, by the way. She has Venus in Virgo.
Thank you for your ears. Especially today when my throat is sore I’m grateful for your company. Have a lovely Venus in Virgo time.
